To estimate your budget, you must know where you want to go! Disney World in Florida, Disneyland in California, Disney Cruise, etc. It has links to help you decide how much your resort and tickets, food and dining, souvenirs, and airfare will be! If you only want to save up for the resort or tickets, just leave the others balance $0.

Then, create your plan! Decide what month and year you want to visit Disney (you aren't booking the vacation, you are just setting a date that you want your vacation completely paid for). You will still have to book your vacation when you decide when to go! You can book over a year in advance. You can use this vacation account to help you pay for your vacation up to 5 years in advance! 

Set up a payment plan! Enter in the total amount you want to save, and how often you want payments made into your Disney account! - Monthly, weekly, every 2 weeks, or one time payment. Enter in your card or bank information so your Disney account can draw money for you vacation!

Track your savings progress, check your balance and manage your account! Whether you want to save more or less, or take your vacation sooner or later, this tool will help you update your goals at any time.

To pay for your vacation, simply give the Disney clerk your vacation account number when you check in, or over the phone when you call to book or make a payment!

You can request a refund at any time! There are no fees or interest costs. It is very simple and straight forward. No catches!

Daily Disney Tip #33 - Should you get a DDP (Disney Dining Plan)?

This website will figure up how much you would pay if you did not use a DDP and if you did! This way, you know whether the DDP would save you money, or not. In MY opinion, unless you eat table service meals every day and have several Disney character dining, then it is not worth it.

Daily Disney Tip #32 - Be Our Guest restaurant!

In Magic Kingdom there is a restaurant inside Beast's Castle in new Fantasyland! Do you know what it is??

Be Our Guest! Yes! Just like Beauty and the Beast!

Go try it for lunch!
 - cheaper
 - no reservations 
 - Better options for picky eaters

Lunch is served until 4, so you could even go at 4 and eat an early dinner!

Update on FastPass+ & What you should do!

FastPass+ is now available to everyone who has a Disney World admission ticket! You have to link this ticket to your My Disney Experience account online.

What's new?
You can choose your attractions 30 days in advance (only 3) AND once you are inside the park and use those 3 attractions, you can go to a kiosk or your smart phone and book another FastPass+ attraction! Then once that one is used, you can book another! You can keep getting another one until they run out or the park closes!
** If you stay in a Disney resort hotel, then you can book 60 days in advance**

You can now park hop!! The catch is... you have to choose your first 3 attractions in 1 park. Once they are used, then you can park hop and select your next FastPass+ attraction!

What should you do?
1st Get online 30 days (or 60) before your trip and choose the 3 FastPass+ attractions for each day of your trip.
2nd Choose the times of those FastPass+ attractions. To get the most out of this new system, try to get the attraction times early (before lunch) so you can start choosing the next attractions for get a FastPass+ for.
3rd Shortly before your trip, look at the weather and make sure you are going to the parks on those days.
4th Make a list of the other attractions you want FastPass+ after the first 3.

More on FastPass+

Now FastPass+ is available to EVERYONE!

It is free with your new theme park tickets! To use this:
1. Create or sign in to My Disney Experience online
2. Sync your tickets your account, spouse's, children's, etc
3. 30 days before your trip, book the FastPass+ attractions!

If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can book your FastPass+ 60 days in advance!! And you each get MagicBands!! MagicBands are the blue, grey, pink, yellow, red, orange wrist-bands that have a simple mickey shape on it. You can use these OR your tickets when you head to you FastPass+ attractions!

MagicBands can also be used to enter your hotel room and pay for dinner/souvenirs inside Disney World!

Daily Disney Tip #31 - Survey Markers

Have you found majority of the "Hidden Mickey's" in the parks, and are looking for something else to find? Well Disney Survey markers are the next hidden objects! They aren't hidden behind bushes; they are on the ground! 

When the surveyors were surveying the land for Walt Disney, they used markers for elevation differences and to mark certain areas. Today, these markers are circles on the ground with Disney World or Disneyland on them. WDW are silver colored and DL are gold colored. They are all over the Disney area including pathways between resorts and next to famous attractions!
